At lunch today I saw a poster for the OPEN Glasgow hackathons:

http://open.glasgow.gov.uk/hackathon/

Looks like the first event has already occurred. Perhaps this contest is of
interest to some of you. It looks as though there is a prize fund.

A few things worth noting:

Terms and conditions is blank (http://open.glasgow.gov.uk/terms-conditions/)

Privacy Policy is blank (http://open.glasgow.gov.uk/privacy-policy/)

(http://data.glasgow.gov.uk/about):
"Glasgow City Council data is now open by
default<http://open.glasgow.gov.uk/manifesto/>,
freely and easily accessible to all", "open by default" links to a blank
page. However they use the 'Open Data' logo, linking to the Open
Datalicence (http://
opendefinition.org/od/).

Something to be aware of if you plan on using this data for anything.

Thanks

Martin
