Hi,

Following on a bit from last week's discussion, a bit of light reading for
people caught in the snows, exploring different ways in which art,
technology and politics relate to one another.

So first up, a new issue of Interface journal discussing these issues has
come out with some articles that look at relations between digital and
non-digital art forms and is available for free download:

One of the contributors, Tatiana Bazzichelli, has previously written about
hacklabs and related cultural practices, much of her stuff is available
online and worth a look:

Another interesting writer is David Berry who has written on 'Libre
Society' and 'Libre Culture' looking at some of the broader cultural
significance of the Free Software, Open Source and copyleft movements.
There is a collection of essays available here:

Also, Tiziana Terranova's "Free Labour: Producing Culture for the Digital
Economy" looking at things from the other side:

And lastly, for Arduino fans, a series of videos of talks including
contributions from one of its inventors Massimo Banzi:

best wishes
