thanks Bob, and Nina

yes I had seen some activity re the common good (some event took place
earlier this year)

where I come from (dont ask) this stuff comes under a broader topic, which
is 'the commons'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragedy_of_the_commons

there is a big global movement that concerns itself with the common good,
while we follow creative commons as 'common intellectual property'
there are other important pieces of the commons puzzle, startin from the law
of the commons

http://onthecommons.org/law-commons

I would think that the work being done under inthecommongood website may
benefit from being aligned to the wider global movement
to leverage its strenght, in terms of knowledge and resources
It may benefit from being clustered under the bigger umbrella

lots of work to be done, shall we organise an unconference where people can
provide an overview
of each different summary and perspective, then ask people to participate in
the movement by
sharing someting of their own for the common good?

or something?
