Welcome aboard to the following:

Hamish McCreadie:

"Third year electronic and electrical engineering student keen on
learning everything and anything technical. Currently keen or creating
a home server with Linux and a small range FM transmitter."

Steven Betteridge

"Hello, I'm Steven. I'm a Systems Engineer in the defence industry,
had various roles over the years - I'm 27 but started when I was 17.
My educational background is in Electronics - currently have an
honours but looking to start my MEng next year at Glasgow Uni. My
interests are anything sensors related, even from a hobbyist point of
view, and have many years experience in the design and implementation
of sensors from a military perspective, however I'm keen to learn more
about software and developing my skills to help me with some projects
I have interest in - particularly: drones/robotics (UAV/UGV), control
through software to enable such systems and sensor payloads - all from
a non-sensitive position - i.e. technology that's readily available in
the public domain. Let me know if you need to know anymore info.
Regards, Steven"

Sam Sharp:

"I'm interested in hacking, and am keen to learn more about DIY
electronics. I have worked as a software developer, and have been
involved in some projects involving hardware (building/assembling a 3
printer, basic 'robotics' with Arduino etc.) I am in Glasgow to start
a phd on developments in 3d printing at Strathclyde busienss school (I
am really not a 'business school' type. I discovered the electron club
as it is the meeting venue for radical union I am involved with (the
Industrial Workers of the World, or IWW) I am interested in the sapce
both academically and personally. It would be great to use the space
for general hacking and developing/sharing skills. It could also
become an interesting case study for my phd work (though of course
this is dependent on consent from the members of the club of course)"

Please take a look at the calendar for upcoming events:
