Hi Martin,
                with ageing hands and failing sight, I'm not sure about this. Would you be up to doing it if I brought it to you, I need the info rapidly and don't trust my arthritic fingers. I could get it to you any time any where.  John.

Don't brute force it back into place, this could damage the
board/connections to the board.

I'm not sure what equipment you have available. Remove the outer casing
(usually plastic)
With a magnifying glass inspect the solder joints between the USB connector
and the wee board. Inspect the board for damage/cracks.

If you notice any damage to the solder joints, clean them up. If not
consider taking some high resolution photos, stick them online somewhere
(flickr?) and post the link here.
