Hi all,
some friends and I have started a project to build computers for some asylum-seeker families with small children. We are using the new Raspberry pi mini-computers and sourcing the rest of the materials from anyone who has unwanted IT stuff lying around. We have some funding to cover the cost of the computers but we are hoping to use second-hand materials as much as possible. We have had some generous donations so far but I thought I'd put a shout out here in case anyone had any of the following things they'd be willing to donate:

monitors
keyboards
mice
usb sticks
usb hubs
SD cards

If you do have anything to donate, email me and I'll come pick it up. Ditto if you'd like to get involved in the project. I'll head along to the open source hardware meeting next week to see if anyone fancies getting involved.
Thankyou!
