[ELECTRON] Mic

I am going to the US to make a wee film on the City Farms in Detroit.
Will be using a Sony camcorder. The visual quality I am not so much worried 
about. What I am worried about is recording half decent sound.

I need to borrow or buy a microphone. A shotgun mic budget is about £150 
£200 tops. I know I will not get much for that, and can't even afford that.

Can anyone help, lend a mic, any ideas on what type to buy, what to look 
out for or any useful suggestions.


Also need borrow a polystyrene Hot Wire Cutters for the Reshuffle event if 
there is one kicking about:) Ch Bob
