great thanks, with the exception of a large box of valves and a couple of 
cardboard boxes that i couldn't manage to get down off the top of the cubbie 
holes myself that is all the stuff in the room (i didn't bother catalogueing 
piles of power and network cables etc)

what does the Meiko drive box look like?

those were included as we were unsure of ownership (in particular if the test 
equipment were yours just being stored)

the initial phase of this is to establish what items are just being stored or 
have specific owners and which are communal possessions and then decisions can 
be made of what is useful to keep and what isn't
