As I've said, I will endeavour to get up to Glasgow with a van to collect
those large Meiko boxes before the end of July. There should also be a
smaller desktop Meiko drive box, but didn't see that. Apologies for not
having sorted this out before now... It is fairly ridiculous that I've left
this stuff cluttering the place up for so long!

I salvaged the Revox machine and tapes and will also remove them if not
being used and is getting in the way. Same applies for the Racal RA17 if
it's getting no use.

Surprised to see a scope, bench PSU, other test equipment and various very
useful smaller parts on that list. But then I did leave Glasgow over 2 years
ago and perhaps the focus of activities has become much narrower these days.

Also, I tried to register on the wiki to update the page, but I'm not
receiving any of the e-mails it's claiming to be sending.

Lastly, just a word of caution based on previous experiences with the come
and go and shifting seas of who does what at EC. Before making any changes
and moving stuff around it's best to engage in discussion first. You have to
consider that, whilst working with only the best intentions, you may cause
disruption to those who were previously involved in some way or expect to
find something in a certain place etc. It's a shared space, has a history
and people who are involved more or less as time marches on. So, new energy
and will to do stuff and to pick up the baton is great, but this must be
tempered with consideration. I hasten to add this is in no way a personal
gripe — as I've said I've not been around for some time and I should
have moved my stuff out long before now.

Cheers,

Andrew
