Hmm, I'll check that.  The last time I checked the available software there
wasn't any PCB CAD stuff in the standard repositories.  I'll check again.

Having totally bricked my laptop by innocently accepting Ubuntu's offer to
"upgrade now", I decided to play safe and try a live CD with version 10 on
it.  Once again it bricked the laptop requiring battery removal to recover.
 May just be an incompatibility with my older laptop.  Otherwise Ubuntu is
slick and easy to use.
