If we use Twitter to organise, copyleft for our output, netwar concepts to
take action, or campaign on net neutrality, IP law etc, do we fit the remit
of the electron club? (I count myself as a member.)

 

Concepts of "free" are deeply political. FOSS is deeply political, mapping
is deeply political. Is the Electron Club only for "practical", ie.
instrumental projects? If you ignore the politics of what you are doing I
worry you will be taken for a ride at some point.

 

(remember the CCA is in line for cuts, the Electron Club is the Big Society
in action etc etc.)

 

Apologies again, I won't post again if that seems to be the desire of the
community.
