OPPOSE TUITION FEES - SAVE THE EMA - STOP EDUCATION CUTS
PLEASE INVITE EVERYONE IN GLASGOW

On Wednesday 24 November, students from across the country will walk-out
from their colleges, universities and schools in protest at the
government's plans to destroy education as know it.
...In Glasgow, students will hold co-ordinated walk-outs at 12 noon, and
protests on their own campuses (confirmed so far - Glasgow Uni, 12 at main
gate; Strath Uni, 12 at McCance building; Art School, 11.45 at the mac)
A call-out has then gone out for UNITED ACTION in the city centre. Students
will assemble at 3.00PM at the Royal Concert Hall steps on Buchanan Street.

We need to send a powerful message to the government that we won't accept
tuition fees being reintroduced, that we won't accept 80% cuts to teaching
budgets, and that we won't accept the EMA being scrapped.

At 5pm, there's then going to be a rally in George Square, supported by the
NUS and various student groups & trade unions. Speakers will include Dave
Moxham (STUC), Pete Murray (NUJ), Phil Whyte (NUS), the Hands Off Stow
College campaign and others.
