[ELECTRON] announcements + projection

Hey,
I was wondering if a groups-type list like the one transform tv uses might
be a better model for the EC mailing list? That way you can opt to have
daily or weekly digests which would avoid getting several emails related to
issues that you might not be involved with directly, like this projector
thing for example, which doesn't directly concern me, or the heated
discussion about spam a few days back.
Google groups is a good model.
Thoughts?
