*Further Information on Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art*
GLASGOW INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF VISUAL ART (GI)is a two-week event taking
place across the city of Glasgow every other year. It is comprised of
exhibitions, public projects, events, talks, performances and screenings in
a diverse range of locations from the city’s major museums to artist-run
spaces and temporary sites and locations. Combining something of the
characteristics of a conventional biennial with a more diverse and
event-based programme across the spectrum, the 2010 Festival includes a
number of projects conceived by Festival Director, Katrina Brown, as well as
a vast array of work by the city's year-round programming organisations and
venues.
