A big hello to new members Philip Cunningham and Tim Foster.
Philip says:
I'm a musician that's looking to break into Max/MSP, Processing and Pure
Data. Primarily as a means of building my own live performance interfaces.
I make music primarily using computers including older, supposedly
redundant platforms, such as Commodore64, NES and Game Boy. Potentially
I'd like do a few workshops on how to recycle these systems for music
purposes.
Generally, just looking to gain a greater understanding and control over
the role in which computer systems play in my music and pass on any
relevant skills that I might have.
Happy to help out in whichever way I can!
Tim says:
Hi! I'm interested in www.openstreetmap.org - free open source map of
the world. It is a volunteer project for the public to add their own
info to. I could perhaps organise a demostration or mapping event.
I'd love to learn more about open-software and electronics too.
I missed the Electron open day but hopefully will drop by soon.
best wishes
Si
