Apologies of cross posting - the MFA exhibition is next Wensday evening at
Tramway. It should be a good time with plenty to see -- hope you can make
it.
Below is the press release for my wee bit in the show.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< BEGIN PRESS RELEASE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The sculptural installation '*Seeking Tranquillity'*, by Glasgow School of
Art Masters student Benjamin Rush, will be part of this year's MFA Thesis
Exhibition to open Wednesday 17 June, from 7 to 9 PM at Tramway, Glasgow.
The work investigates the memory and significance of the exhibition of the
US Apollo 10 capsule as it appeared in the Tramway Museum (then the Glasgow
Museum of Transportation) in August 1971. The brief five day exhibition
celebrated the success of the Apollo programme as the first manned mission
to the moon. *'Seeking Tranquillity'* includes among other artifacts, a
life-size 3-dimensional drawing of the Apollo capsule. The artist is
especially keen to meet any of the 56,000 people who visited the 1971
blockbuster event and encourages them to come to this current exhibition
where they will have the opportunity to record and share their experiences.
20 July marks the 40th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing.

The MFA exhibition runs from 18 Thursday through Sunday 22 June. Contact
www.tramway.org or +44 (0) 141 276 0950 for more information.
