Camp for Climate Action Info Night and Press Training
www.climatecamp.org.uk
As you may know 'Climate Camp' (www.climatecamp.org.uk) is this year coming to Scotland to highlight the social and environmental injustice caused by the Royal Bank of Scotland's unethical practices (19 -23rd August 2010). To name but a few RBS takes public money which could be spent on addressing poverty at home and invests it in some of the most polluting projects across the world to make a profit. If we are to stop poverty, runaway climate and preserve a future, in Scotland our focus must be on RBS HQ this Summer. The Climate Camp is famous for putting the spotlight on companies in the UK who most profit from pollution, inequality and poverty such as airports, coal fired power stations and now RBS.
This will be an information update and media training if you want to find out more and relate the issues to the press and to your community. It would be absolutely great to have you at the press training.
