Maklab

The MakLab kit at 51-53 Commerce Street is being auctioned off by Thainstone Specialist Auctions.

I’ve registered interest with them and they’ve provided the attached list.

I would suggest that if people want to buy stuff either as part of the Electron Club or privately we try not to bump up the prices too much by outbidding each other (

There a few bits of faulty kit which might be good projects for the club.

Apparently the rest of the kit at Charing Cross is yet to be sorted out as the landlord has some weird rights over it at the moment. Sounds like it will be sorted, might just take some time.

Cheers

    Shame about the Maklab, although it wasn’t as good as it could have been.

    Does anyone know what’s happened to all the machines and stuff? Are there
    any plans for it to be bought out or anything?

    From further down the social media rabbit hole:

       <https://www.instagram.com/sparrowandco/> cherry pick their equipment
       for a knock down price from the administrators and set up an improved
       equivalent
       - sparrowandco <https://www.instagram.com/sparrowandco/>Great idea
       @gomezondeck <https://www.instagram.com/gomezondeck/>unfortunately I
       think the equipment will go towards paying off their £100k unpaid tax bill
       to HMRC

    So you may get lucky, if it's not already been flipped.
