John, as the article states, you need to run these from a the command
line, like previous things you've had to run when asking questions
about Linux.

Open a terminal and try it.

Note, you'll need to substitute the IP address in this example
(192.168.1.132) to that of your device, which you should have set to a
static address on your network, as mentioned earlier.
