[ELECTRON] Looking for a EEPROM programmer

Hi everyone, 

Bit of background: I'm working on upgrading/refurbishing a piece of
musical equipment from the late 80s at the moment (Akai S1000 sampler if
anyone is interested) and am trying to upgrade the EEPROMs to the latest
operating system. 

Basically the OS is stored on 2x AM27C512 chips (DIP28 form factor).
Does anyone have a compatible programmer that they could bring in to
help out with this? 

I could bring the full unit along to the next alt.electron if we have
anybody on the list who's interested in hacking (or just playing with)
old musical gear.
