Hi there Electron Club

I'm wondering if any of your members might be able to help me out with a
project. I'm a dance artist working with a sound artist on an 
installation.
We are looking for help to design and make a hand held wind-up powered
device that emits light and sound. So far we have been using a wind up
lantern torch with a small speaker stuck to it (with sound card)- just to
test some ideas. We'd like the devices to be easy/cheap to make and
hopefully from re-purposing existing consumer items. We'd also like to
increase the interactive potential of the device, eg. sensors which
increase brightness of light as people get closer to each other.

Is this the kind of thing someone might have the skills/interest to help
with?
