Hi Gareth,

There is an event in June:
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/glasgow-science-festival-raspberry-jam-and-coderdojo-scotland-tickets-11220756585
but I am not sure what the set up is though. Craig (Coder Dojo) ran one
(Coder Dojo+Raspberry Pi) event earlier this year. As you say, these
events are normally over subscribed.
Often the main problem is setting up a good venue. If the venue is free or
cheap, then any ticket money can go on extra hardware. Sometimes companies
are willing to tend space. Events often work well if they include:
* bring and share
* tutorials
* some talks

I have made contact with the computing at schools team in Scotland, who
would be interested in notifying their members (teachers).

Thanks for the welcome.

Best regards,

Will
