Thanks for the warm welcome! While I couldn't get to the recent open day as
I work weekends, I'm part of the local IWW branch and some of the folks
from there were talking about all the prep and expected events and I
thought it would be good to get involved in some of the skill-shares and
workshops you arrange. Also seeing the 3D printer assembling in the corner
of the room is all kindsa awesome and I'd love to learn more about the
practical side of that :)

For my part I've a history of helping with LARP and theatrical prop making
(from making safe prop weapons and knitting chainmail through to large
sets) as well as putting on events from small scale gatherings to festivals
of varying sizes, though I'm a bit out of practice so it would be good to
get back into the swing of things.
