Welcome to two new members:

Sandy Johnstone who writes:

"I've been advised to go along by friends who have previously attended the
Electron Club.

I'm interested in learning about wireless technologies, getting a
meshnetgoing, but want to learn more before diving into it!"

And Nicholas Cameron:

"Hello, I am a total beginner at electronics, but I am interested in
learning about green energy. I would like to make a wind turbine to
understand the process and how everything works together.

I have some experience with music production and own some basic music gear.
I have had some experience with video editing, though not much. I am a
trained singer by trade.

One other thing I would like to figure out is how to fix a machine I own as
it has died. It is basically a motor with a variable speed control, but I
have not a clue where to start with that.

My hope would be to learn a bit about the basics of electronics and how to
put a circuit together and understand how to harness natural energy, via
wind and water.

If I could be of assistance in any capacity I would be glad to help and
hopefully contribute to the group."
