For those who are relatively new to the list it's worth pointing out that
the SOLDER group have a great deal of experience and a long track record of
providing excellent help, advice and tuition. Over the  years they've
taught a lot of people to solder, in groups and projects unrelated to their
own.

A couple of the SOLDER people I've spoken to in the past also have
experience of building synthesisers, including the analog modular variety.
