[ELECTRON] Crazy Ubuntu.

Thanks,   no problems with Windows, but I preferred Ubuntu for the year or so that it worked great. In the last week I also had difficulty with Ubuntu in linking to a network wifi printer it did at first then it didn't and then it did, and then never again. I'll have a look at what you say. John,

You say Ubuntu reports a system error but don't say what it is. Perhaps if
you can provide this someone can advise further.

It certainly sounds like it's having weird graphics problems, though if
you're not experiencing similar problems when running Windows this suggests
software rather than hardware. In recent releases the standard Ubuntu
distribution has made a lot of changes to the windows manager. If you have
the time check out Xubuntu ( http://xubuntu.org/), it doesn't require a 3D
graphics card and is lighter on resources while maintaining features like
the Software center/app store etc.
