[ELECTRON] Evening events?

Hello,

I've just recently joined and tried to attend the amateur radio meetup
tonight and the Glasgow open source hardware meeting last Thursday.
Admittedly I showed up about an hour after the posted start times on the
calendar, but both times the room has been dark and seemed empty.

Do these events still occur regularly but just end quickly? If not, how do
I find out when they do happen and are there alternative meetings I
could/should attend? For instance I know about the Friday WoSARS meeting.
