Traditionally, though with some exceptions, it's been the rule that others
can sit and work in the space while there's something else going on,
provided they're not a disruption to those who have booked the room.

Kirtsy did the right thing, booked the room in the calendar when it was
free and sent an email to the list to politely inform everyone. Kirsty
requires the exception to the rule, and needs to use the space alone for a
while, which is of course fine.

IMHO a booking should be added to the calendar for the days/hours the space
is being used as this temporary office/work space arrangement, perhaps
including in the more information in the "Description" field explaining
what's happening and whether or not it's possible for others to use the
space.

Had this existed Kirsty would have been able to either ask the person who
booked the space directly, or known that another date/time would be
required.
