I've had a quick look at this ebook, it seems to have been written by
someone who hasn't used a Raspberry Pi and understands nothing about the
device. It contains wildly inaccurate statements. I don't think this is
going to be helpful to anyone, in fact it's probably only going to add
to/cause confusion. The reviews on Amazon go into more detail.

Note also that it's no longer being offered free of charge.
