Subject: Another Possible Intruder on Saturday 03/07/12 (please forward to
all building users)
To: all staff CCA <ccastaff at cca-glasgow.com>

Hello everybody,

With regret I have to report that we had another intruder on Saturday
afternoon. This time entry was not forced but a suspicious individual
gained access to the 2nd floor Cultural Tenant's corridor and was caught
having a look around by Mark MacNichol of the Playwrights Studio’s Writers’
Room.

Mark called the police straight away and followed him out of the building
to Campus wherein the man was picked up by the police. This man could not
have been the same one that attempted to break into Random Accomplice’s
office as he was only recently let out of prison.

Yesterday I had an engineer out from Image Systems, the company that look
after our alarm systems and fob access doors, to work on our CCTV system
and the doors leading into the 2nd floor corridor. He made an adjustment to
the closer of the door used by the suspicious character on Saturday, it is
now more likely to lock first time, but he told me that the problem isn’t
with the electric lock but the door themselves.

While I continue to look into this and improve the security of the building
I need to reiterate my request to ensure that all doors are locked behind
you, whenever possible. The fob entry doors may need to be held shut for a
moment to be securely locked.

Thanks,
Alasdair Rothin
