[ELECTRON] separate political mailing list?

I agree on all points.  A separate list is nothing new here, it was done for the PD'ers too.  Any member that wants in on the discussion can easily sign up for the list and it's archived just like the main list so there's really no less access, just in a more specific place.

As far as the political stuff goes, I agree there isn't enough volume to justify a separate list. In any event, it seems that most of the 'political' discussions have centred around general EC activities, and have been addressed to the entire membership.  The rewrap and PD discussions on the other hand have been addressed specifically to the people involved in those projects.  Neither is more important than the other. The suggestion of a separate list was only to make overall communication on the list more efficient.
