As far as nozzle size, 0.5mm and 3mm filament is probably what we need.  
Smaller nozzles == better detail == slower prints.  Larger nozzles == 
less detail == faster prints.  0.5mm is pretty much the default size for 
3mm filament and is as close to a standard as there is.

We can always look at adding a 1.75mm extruder in the future.

As to what model.  I am using the mkIIIb without problems.  It is the 
one with the additional heat sink.  The mk4 looks interesting but 
lighter weight.  Is Brian giving any advice on what is best?  The mkIII 
looks more dureable.
