I've never seen that synchromesh belt before.  You'd wonder if it
might twist under strain, but it seems stable in that video.

I know from past experience that just buying off the shelf toothed
belts is a minefield of metric and imperial sizes and pitches.  I
guess the Prusa Mendel geeks have standardised on a particular size.
