[ELECTRON] Invite to Skill/Trade BarCamp at Market Gallery

Hi all,

Just an FYI from Gayle Meikle regarding a BarCamp event this Saturday:

Artist Gayle Meikle will be conducting a BarCamp as part of her project
Skill/Trade. A BarCamp is a meeting of people from diverse backgrounds who
come together to solve a specific problem. Gayle would like to seek support
and advice in creating her skills directory and would like interested
parties to join her in discussing what form the directory will take. The
Skills Directory will be a central database for all resources available to
Market, its affiliates and audience. It will chronicle all willing
participants, local amenities, materials and labour with an emphasis on
trading and exchange rather than monetary transactions.

Skills Directory BarCamp
Saturday the 25th of August
Market Gallery Duke Street Dennistoun Glasgow
11am til problem is resolved (refreshments will be supplied by Market
Gallery)

This BarCamp is focussed on how to create a directory for a gallery who
wants to become more socially engaged within its environment.
The Directory is focussed on skills however skills is open to
interpretation and can be expanded beyond.
The problem that the camp will solve is what form the directory will take
and what content the directory will have in it.

I am seeking interested parties of all kinds from members of the Dennistoun
community to programmers, researchers, artists, educators, thinkers...
Please note that all participants are active within the camp.
