[ELECTRON] Keeping stuff tidy

I'm a little jet lagged and catching up on email at the moment.

Communications will always be a problem. We've no way of ensuring that
people read each post on a list/forum/twitter or anything else, and on
occasion people just ignore what they've been told directly, for whatever
reason.

I propose we use a dry wipe board in the room to make people aware of
situations such as the one under discussion in this thread. I'll pop up to
the room this week to check if there's already a board there, if not I'll
get one and a couple of pens.

Obviously this method is also susceptible to the same problems mentioned
above, but it's something that is in the room, and doesn't require someone
to read the posts on the list if they haven't already done so. The board
could simply be used to make people aware of what's going on.

I'm not suggesting that the board on it's own is a solution, messages to the
list are still a good idea, but for those who don't follow the list or have
forgotten a dry wipe board in the room seems like a sensible option.

Again, thanks to everyone for all their hard work cataloguing the kit
and organising it. Their work is for the good of the space. For what it's
worth kit was labelled with raffle tickets, and collected in piles. It's not
a huge room and the kit in question was taking up a relativity large
percentage of this area, hence why people are trying remedy the situation.
However if people hadn't read or forgotten about the announcement made on
the list, I can see how this may be confusing.

In summary, if we can agree on maintaining the board in the room, which I
don't think would take a lot of time or effort to manage, people using the
space can quickly make themselves aware of any issues.

Thanks

Martin
