Talking of which....  Are there any electronics clubs in Glasgow that
cater for the more seasoned engineers and have active electronic
content?  Blairs activity with his 3D printer is one of the few
technical discussions I've seen on this forum.  I've tried seeding it
with electronics discussion in the past, but I get the feeling that
the bulk of the participants are "artists" of the type that come up
with ideas and expect others to do the actual electronic leg work, and
people who are trying to be hip by being in an electronics club.
