Hello Everyone,

It's good to have found such a place in the area .. I've been waiting
for years ! Sorry I only found out about yous now - however never
found this place listed in the common websites which list hackerspaces
and the sort ... sure there's plenty more people who would like to
find out about the Club.

I am interested in DIY electronics with a focus on home automation,
sensors, gps and wifi (long range especially). I read Make magazine,
also interested in Arduino (&c.), DIYbio, AMSAT, Sat feeds scanning,
wireless comms, unix retrocomputing (Sun in particular)

My professional background is in IT: Web Development (LAMP), System
administration (Linux/Solaris), IT Project Management, HW Pre-sales.

P.S.= I tried to join on the website but it returns an error .. and
the calendar returns a 404. Works in Progress ?
