Hey,

I'd definitely be up for attending future meetings, hopefully with some things of my own to show.

Thanks for organising it Roy, it was a great deal of fun and really good to meet you guys.

Cheers,

Jason

Thanks to everyone who came out for this, it was most helpful, and I hope you got something out of it too.
It would be good to have a monthly show and tell type meet up - The Saturday afternoon timing was very conducive to tinkering I thought, plus there's plenty of cake still to be got through! Will call another one after Makerfaire.

Hey,

I'm up for coming along to this. Just getting started with Pd coupled with arduino, building my own hardware sound modules, effects and mics so it would be good to meet up with and get to know some more experienced people.

Also can't pass up tea and cake, that was the clincher.

Hi there,

I've booked in a Maklab Tea Party  at the EC on sat 5th march from 3pm. It is to be a meetup for makers, open hardware, open design, digital fabrication, crafters, stuff like that.

Basically, I'd like to try out showing some projects before taking them down to Makerfaire and would like to start building a community of makers interested in using the 'Maklab' (aka fablab) when it comes to fruition.

All are welcome to come along and socialise and show projects, see projects, discuss independent making. All very informal.

Bring tea and cake.
Roy
