[ELECTRON] tidy up and reorganisation before camcorder gorillas move in

Great work Kenny,

I seem to recall a discussion at the earlier in the year which had a few
replies from people volunteering to help out with such a catalogue/clear up.
Anyone still up for this?

I'm busy for the next ten days or so, but after that I can help out with
this.
