[ELECTRON] Arduino Meetup

FYI the problem was not on my client. (I use both thunderbird and outlook)
When signing up to the mailing lists, you have an option to receive your
mails as a digest or one by one. If you take the default you end up with a
digest.

Having changed that setting now, I things are working as they should for me.
But thanks for the link about how to ask questions.

Again, this is all dependant on your mail client, you've yet to disclose
which one you are using.

When asking for help with something it's always a good idea to mention the
fundamentals involved (software used, a description of what you're trying to
do, what goes wrong etc).

I think I have sorted things out. If you use the default setting and get
your mail in digest mode you don't get that option.

Changed the setting via my account and if this works ok then I have cracked
it.

I still hate mailing lists! J

Blair,

Just reply to the existing thread rather than sending a new mail to the
mailing list. If this is what you are doing perhaps there is some problem
with your mail client. A google search should turn up any mail client
problems, or further mailing list tutorials/help.

Yep... Martin

I can't use mailing lists properly... hate this things with a passion! How
do I reply into the thread?

In terms of your suggested structure... I agree that it would be good to
start off with something structured and your suggestion looks friendly to
those who have just started using arduino

   - What is an arduino
      - The Hardware
      - The Development environment
   - Show and tell (Run what you bring?)

I can certainly put something together for this, although there may (almost
certainly) be someone with better knowledge than I out there who would do a
better job than me!
