I will try and get along on Saturday but have some other stuff to do as well.

However, can I reccommend STRONGLY that those interested in Fablab, and Maker ideas generally, take 15 minutes to go along to the Glasgow School of Art graduate show. Go into the main Macintosh building studios and seek out the Nomadic Workshop, made and presented by Hannah Brackston. See an image here: http://community.thisiscentralstation.com/_GSofA-Degree-Show-2011-Fine-Art/blog/3950106/126249.html the picture really doesnt do it justice.

This is, essentially, a mobile Fablab for hand tool working and is just awe inspiring. Further more she is willing to lend it out!!

Hi all,

I have not been able to put in a room booking as the calendar still
seems to be down, however we are still planning on having a maker
meetup this Saturday in the EC room (Back to the afternoon tea slot).

Brian is bringing along his craft robo for some CNC card/sticker
cutting, and I think I'll bring some bits for having a go at making
bike lights, and working on Blair's super secure toolbox..

2.30, Saturday 11th, bring biccies.

Roy
