David,

There are plenty of keyboards in the room, however have you actually tried
to access the BIOS using your USB keyboard?

Are you confusing the BIOS and the boot loader? You can alter the BIOS
settings with a USB keyboard to enable legacy USB/keyboard support, allowing
you to select an os with the cursor keys in the bootloader.
