Can I mention that I get very cynical about the invitation they offer
to "lifelong learning" since their sole motive for offering it is for
lifelong profit.  The educational industry is exactly that, an
industry that has to turn over cash to exist.

Yes there are levels of education that should be expected, like the
traditional day-release training that used to go along with
traditional apprenticeships.  But in this day a really good source of
further education that runs at your own speed and your own learning
capacity is right in front of you.  Your computer and the Internet.
Many of the courses run by even the most prominent educational
establishments are being "taught" by people who often know little more
about the subject than yourself.
