Again thanks to Simon for his efforts to date...

I enjoy web site design and would be interested in developing the web site
side of things for the Electron club... I would like to see a site that
allows members who are interested to publish meeting notes, photographs etc.

I have developed several sites using the open source Joomla CMS. (see
www.justblair.co.uk for a simple example) including a very community
orientated intranet solution for my employer which goes live this month.  I
would be happy to do some of the structural stuff either individually or
with assistance.
