Not that easy.  The sensors will have an anti-tamper circuit going
through them and will probably be part of a continuous normally closed
series loop.  Just removing a sensor could render the whole system
inoperative and will result in a continuous warning alarm.

Note that there's also most likely a battery backup in the controller
and bell, so simply turning the alarm off is not as easy as it sounds.

Do you really need to remove the sensors?  If you just want to stop
them from picking up a pet then you can simply put a cover over the
front and it won't be able to see the heat image that most basic
movement sensors look for.  A bit of gaffa tape or card taped across
the front will do.  Some alarms may flag up an alert if they see no
activity from a sensor over a period of time though.  Only one way to
find out.
