[ELECTRON] notes from meeting

Thanks to everyone who was able to make the meeting tonight - apologies
for not getting it on Skype.

Francis McKee gave a wee talk about the value of the Electron Club to the
CCA and emphasised he was keen to continue supporting it.

Some members from Camcorder Guerillas attended, they feel that there is
much common ground with the Electron Club. There are some issues to be
resolved about organising the space to accommodate them but there are not
major. They have asked to have another meeting next month to discuss
things further.

Blair gave a demo of his plans for the new website. It's looking good. If
other people with PHP/Joomla experience are interested in helping just let
him know via the list.

A small group has been set up to take over the roles of liaising with CCA
and the public, new members, etc. This currently includes:

- Kenny Dufus
- Bob Hamilton
- Martin McGrath

If anyone who couldn't be there tonight wishes to join that group let us
know.

A dedicated mailing list will be set up which messages to and from CCA
staff and from public enquiries will be handled through.

There was much discussion after the meeting about having more public
events, maybe a monthly workshop, show'n'tell, or open day style thing.
