With the Arduino (or indeed any other AVR with STK500 firmware) it's
trivial to just blow it into flash.  This is especially helpful if
you've got a lot of hardware to drive which is not easy to simulate
(like, oh, a DAC, a multiplexer and a couple of VCFs...) when you want
to debug ;-)
