Sensitivity to light and movement. At a wider level there are issues
round design for all i.e. designing systems that can be used by as many
people as possible and that are inclusive rather than exclusive. It is
therefore important when designing new systems to consider the effects
on users, particularly different groups of disabled users. Someone else
raised the issue of the lighting system being disconcerting at night.
In the context of this sort of system there are also issues of what
improves people's safety - lots of design issues relating to the
interaction of aesthetics and functionality.
