Dear fellow electrolytes,

A very interesting topic indeed. Rarely do I pass comment on these lists
(primarily because I moved north) but this topic is something that I think
everyone needs to be made more aware of. People should be given choices
(don't think I asked to be part of Buzz!?) and the only way of making good
choices is to be properly informed. There were a series of excellent
programs on the BBC recently called 'The Virtual Revolution' which I
recommend everyone watches. I think they are being repeated currently if not
you can see some episodes on iplayer. Episode 4 is on tonight, late:

touched on the great beast Google. Food for thought!

There is a lot I love(d) about Google - the fact that they have provided
some great free services, tools and software (Chromium browser, Android OS,
Google docs etc) but what I detest is how they then take your usage of their
services as a means for their own ends.

We sacrifice our privacy in return for (perceived) freedom methinks.
