Thanks to all who have replied

Probably just a 'cultural' gap that needs to be filled
Philip - yes the wording would suggest they know what Barcamp is, but it
does not seem they are putting
in practice

Benjamin suggested on the electron list the organisers are made aware of
this discussion going on
hopefully they can address the concerns accordingly
